Villa Doria Pamphili is the largest public park of Rome, with it's area of 1.8 km² and it is placed on the Janiculum Hill.
In 1630, Pamphilio Pamphili bought the Villa Vecchia property and adjoining lands to create a large estate. In XIX century, the Villa Vecchia was transformed into a residence for the staff. In the begining of XX century, the interior was modified in Art Nouveau style. In 1957, the Italian State bought the Villa and used it as the seat of an official Ministry. Today, the Villa is a museum with rich collection of antiques and sculptures.

Villa Borghese is one of the greatest public parks in Rome. It is a large landscaped garden, with a variety of buildings, museums and attractions.The Villa Borghese contains sculptures and fountains arranged in the gardens, in perfect balance with the nature. The Spanish Steps leading to this park. Another entrance is that from Piazza del Popolo. The gardens were grown for the Villa Borghese, placed on the Pincian Hill. Cardinal Scipione Borghese used the suburban villa to house his art collection.

Villa Ada is one of the very largest public parks in Rome, Italy. It was the residence of the Italian royal family from 1872 to 1878 and then from 1904 to 1946. Among holm oaks (Quercus ilex), grassland and pine trees it offers an itinerary of beautiful landscapes and constitutes an important historical legacy.

The Tiber Island (Italian: Isola Tiberina, Latin: Insula Tiberina), is a boat-shaped island which has long been associated with healing. It is an ait, and the only island in the Tiber river which runs through Rome. The island is located in the southern bend of the Tiber, in Rome, Italy. It is approximately 270 m. long and 67 m. wide.
